Grass Fed Lamb

Each fall, in October, lambs that have not been selected for our breeding program, are available for sale as grass fed lamb. After weaning, these lambs are raised on lush and quite green pastures.

How the grass-fed lamb purchasing process works:

1. Typically the lambs are 8-10 months old and weight about 90lbs when ready for processing.
2. Lambs usually have a fifty percent hanging weight from their live weight.
3. We deliver the lamb to a local custom meat processing center for you.
4. Our farm is paid based on the pounds of hanging weight of each lamb. The processing fee for the cutting is paid directly to the processor at pick up.
